Wedgeway Barber Shop

I just got finished getting my hair and beard taken care of. Got my usual great haircut. Actually was glad to see that finally, after five years of going to this shop, their first price raise of only a few dollars. Still a great deal and I don't know how they do it. Also, gotta got an ear hair removal which has left me smooth as a baby's bottom.

I've tried other shops in the area, since moving back downtown and this one is by far the best. I went in today and Shayna was a master of her craft and a delight to talk to. The friendly atmosphere, old school charm and outstanding customer service make this my only destination for a cut and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Definitely my favorite spot. Been hopping around to different barber shops for sometime now, including many of the fancier themed, and hip places in the Capital Region. But Wedgeway has become my favorite for one simple fact, they do a great job at a reasonable price. Dawn, the owner is a master at her craft and she tends to hire some of the best barbers in the area. Great job! Update - they've moved their location from the actual "wedge-building" on the corner of Erie and State, to 128 Erie Blvd. The space is larger and more accommodating for customers. An exciting new chapter has begun!

Was in there 2 weeks ago. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional. Shayna did a great job cutting my hair and trimming my beard. She also gave advice on what to do with a situation I had going on with my hair and it works great. Thank you Shayna for the trim and advice
