Paul's Barber Shop (Appointment Needed)

I love this place. Norm, the owner, gives me the best haircut ever. I have not lived in Schenectady or even in NY for decades, but when I come back, I make an appointment to see Norm at Paul's barber shop. He is such a professional. I only wish I had more hair to give him more of a challenge. Norm used to cut my father's hair as well. There is nothing like tradition. I hope he keeps cutting hair forever. You have just got to love shops like this.

I would definitely recommend this barbershop! I brought my son to Paul's Barbershop for a haircut and was very impressed with the whole experience. We walked in and right away were greeted by Norman and felt welcomed. My son's appointment was at 4 pm and he sat in the chair within 5 minutes. My son had a specific haircut in mind and Norman listened carefully and then got his scissors and snipped away; he was very quick and efficient. My son was very happy with his haircut, and I would happily bring him there again.

Norm is legendary and regarded as one of the greatest Barbers of all time in our American History..……..He is an artist with your hair, always looking to achieve perfection - The Man has greatness, as he is truly extraordinary and has Been my barber for 28 years!!! There are few absolutes in this world and that is Death, Taxes, and incredible haircuts with Norm at the shop!!! Always always always

Haven't been to a barbershop for about 30 years. Great experience going back to Paul's barbershop where I went all through school. Great job Norman!(Paul's son) I highly recommend this old school shop for a great cut and shave. I'll definitely be returning.

I really like Norman. He is very friendly and accommodating. I like the haircut including shaving the neck with a razor. I would highly recommend this shop with fair prices.
