Customer Reviews
I took a break from waxing since I’m letting my brows grow out and I couldn’t be happier with how mines turned out after visiting this location. I’ve been to their Del Ray studio years back and it’s good to know that the level of quality is consistent across all locations, to this day. Ask for Jaylinne, she’s a great cerologist and was super accommodating. I’m very particular about my brows and I love that she even recommended a few products for me to try out!
I had a wonderful experience. I like that I had to be buzzed into the suite. The suite was very nice and smelled fresh. The receptionist and Cerologist Jaylinne was very professional. I like that she explained everything she was going to do before she did it. Will definitely return.
Waxes are great, management is not. I’ve been coming to Waxing the City for over a year and have never had anything but an excellent experience with the cerologists. That said, I’ve cancelled my membership due to the inflexibility of management. I’m 6 months pregnant and came down with terrible food poisoning the night before my wax; WtC would not waive the 50% cancellation fee in spite of the exceptional circumstances. I’ve been a loyal customer for over a year, and would not dream of protesting the cancellation fee under any other circumstance. It’s disappointing to find out how WtC rewards loyalty. I wouldn’t recommend this - or any other - location to anyone.
I came here almost every month for 2 years and had a mostly good experience. However, I’ve been away from D.C. over 3 months and my card has unknowingly been charged every month since then even though I cancelled my membership. I’ve called every week for the past few weeks asking for a refund and I have still not heard back from the Manager (the receptionists have tried to be helpful!) In summary, do not trust them with your card details and do not sign up for the monthly membership.
I appreciate the location, services, availability/hours, prices and positive & welcoming energy! Thus far, I’ve worked w/three (3) “cerologists;” and while all are unique, they were professional & friendly!
