V's Barbershop - Campbell

Let me start by saying that I’ve gotten very good haircuts here. I’d give this barber shop 5 stars if not for one big issue… When I first started coming here, I found a barber that I really liked. Unfortunately, he didn’t show up for my appointment with him twice in a row. The first time, I thought “maybe he isn’t in today because of some emergency or something.” I rescheduled, and when I showed up for the second appointment, the staff said they didn’t know why he didn’t show up again. I was pretty pissed off, driving all the way there on two different occasions, just to find out that the barber I booked with didn’t show up. I wasn’t notified either time. Very, very happy with my haircut. Best part? Christian took his time and didn’t rush it, unlike the “Quickie Cut” places out there. The shop was super clean and actually smelled wonderful, like a barbershop should. Thank you Christian for a job well done.

What happened wasn’t the hairstylist’s fault. Not entirely. She seemed very nervous at my appointment. People have bad days. The only thing I know was I asked for a simple undercut. I had a photo and more than enough hair and beard to do what I wanted. She said as much. When I left, I only had the photo. By the time she let me see a mirror, it was too late for anything. Every hair on my head was a different length, all of them wrong. I was patchy and uneven. She had given me a fade in a haircut that does not have one, based on a photo that clearly showed the opposite. Before I managed to get out of there, both the hairstylist and what I can only assume was the manager had tried to physically restrain me to fix what they’d done. Great shop, nice location and good staff. Everyone in that shop can cut/fade very well, if you need an inbetween cut between barbers or just a new one - this is a solid shop with great people. Rogelio has been my barber for a few years without fail. The man knows his craft and can fade/taper/cut/line up very well - I’m particular with my cuts and he gets the job done right and takes his time. If you value your cuts and don’t want to break the bank, this is your spot.

Daniel gave me the best haircut of my life today. I have rather difficult hair and nobody before him has completed the task to absolute satisfaction like he has. Book appointments with him and make sure to tip, he is generous with his time and effort and delivers beyond expectations.
