V's Barbershop - Bloomington

James is one of those barbers who quietly changes your life in 30-40 minutes. I walked in looking like I had seen a couple rough months, and left that chair an entirely new man. He really listens to what you ask for, explains what he’s doing, and somehow gets it exactly right. If you’re debating booking with James, stop debating. Future you will be very grateful.

First time here, very welcoming and nice decorations. Everyone is friendly and professional, I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Vs Barbershop was very clean and well managed. The barber I requested was Dreads. It was my first time at the establishment and I am very satisfied with my fade. He was able to fade right around my braids flawlessly. I found my new barber and barbershop!

Gave me one of the worst fades I’ve ever had. One side of my head looks like it wasn’t even cut it’s still long unlike the other side. And u asked for 1-2 inches off the whole top of my head and she maybe took off 1/4 of an inch. The worst thing was she pretty much gave me bangs/ a bowl cut. She took my hair combed it in front of my eyes flat against my face and cut straight across my forehead. So now I’ve got 1inch bangs and the rest of the hair on my head is still like 3-4 inches. She was a nice lady but can not cut hair do not go to Jessi to cut your hair

My son saw a lady named Jessica. He's a college student and gets what he calls a fade. I just got off face time with him and he said, and I quote "First time I'm actually happy with my hair here". He has had several bad cuts over the last few months since starting at IU. I'm glad his mother talked him into trying them out.
