Be Hair Now

I have been going to Tracey at Be Hair Now for over 20 years and she is the absolute best!!! I would not trust my hair with anyone else! She knows exactly how to cut curly hair and I even started taking my 9-year old daughter there for her hair cuts about 5 years ago. Tracey is honest, and has amazing talent! I love her design aesthetic and the shop location is perfect. She is a landmark in the Bloomington Community and is always doing things to give back. I would recommend Be Hair Now to anyone and everyone!

I have been seeing Tracey for about 20 years - she really listens, asks important questions when consulting about haircut, talks straight with you. (Like steering me away from styles that require a lot of daily effort as she knows I am wash and wear) She also told me NOT to dye my gray hair because looks better that way - which is obviously not in her best financial interests. Her prices are VERY reasonable! She is 100% trustworthy and skilled with all kinds of hair and products. I always love chatting with her too. Outstanding hairstylist, awesome human.

Tracey is an amazing stylist who knows how to deal with curly hair — she can cut it and she knows what products will enhance my curls while keeping my hair healthy. She will say, “This is going to feel short for about a week, but then I think you’ll love it,” and she’s always right. What I love even more about Tracey and Be Hair Now is the community they’ve created. Whether it’s a food drive or connecting clients who can help each other, they’re doing more than just hair. I’m working on a summer bike camp. Tracey connected me with another client who had bikes she wanted to donate. It doesn’t seem like a huge deal, but it felt like a little magic.

This is hands down the best salon in town. I will never go anywhere else. I have been a customer for nearly 20 years. And when I lived in Kentucky, I drove to Bloomington to get my hair cut here. The salon is also super stylishly decorated...Fun and quirky. And the stylists are so awesome. I would hang out here, even if I wasn’t getting my haircut.

Be Hair Now is the ONLY place I trust with my curly hair! They take the time to figure out what is best for YOUR hair and understand that curls are different for everyone. Plus the vibes are a little funky and chill. Absolutely the best!
