Lovely salon with a good location in DC with plenty of street parking nearby. Talented stylists -- including my long-time faves, Fela, Ishia, and TK -- who have unmatched skill and talent to make you look and feel fabulous.

Hair washing feels like a scalp massage. The products make my scalp feel fresh. the best way I can describe it is; like chewing peppermint gum. By the time I get to the styling chair, I feel so relaxed. My favorite part is getting styled because I leave the salon with bouncy, healthy hair, and feeling beautiful. Thank you Vernon...you're my rock star stylist. I appreciate you!

I was looking for weave stylist for my birthday in 2017 and came across Vernon's shop. I have gotten my weaves installed and when I tell you that he is THE BEST and the HAIR is the so beautiful. Hear me when I say Vernon is the best stylist in the business.He has a gift of art and he has a vision that he creates for you. His VEMA Couture Hair line is so soft and doesn't shed at all. The Wigs and the hair I stand by and will always purchase again and again. Go see Vernon Martin you will love him.

I love having Raymond Chandler as my nail-care specialist at Vernon Martins Salon! Not only do i receive great nail care, the music tracks are awesome and he lifts my spirits every visit!

I ALWAYS love my service at Vernon Martin's Salon. He is an ARTIST not just a hairdresser. He LISTENS to his patrons and makes suggestions if need be. When I initially came to Vernon, I theoretically, or so I thought knew what I wanted. As previously stated he listened. He spun me around to look at my hair, scalp etc., and then created my masterpiece (it was on my head so I can say that). He and his assistant Shonita have and continue to take GREAT care of me. Everyone, from the other hairstylist and their assistants as well as the patrons have made each visit a delight.
