Vase's Nails & Spa

Henry has been doing my nails since April (2023) , & I have been happy with every single set. I get dip on my natural nails with a gel topcoat, adding tips when needed! He pays close attention to the nail shape, gives a hand massage with oil, & uses a hot towel at the end of the manicure. I work at farmers markets every week which can be really tough on my nails, even with that my nails last 3+ weeks. I could not recommend a nail tech more! ☺️ (price $60-65 + tip)

This salon doesn't even deserve one star. I had a dipping powder manicure recently at Vase's Nails and Spa. 3 days later half of the nails popped off and by day 5 there wasn't a nail left on either hand. See pictures below. I called the salon and explained the situation. I do not live in the San Diego area so I couldn't go back to have my nails redone. The salon refused to give me a refund.

Brand new name and location for the AmeriNails’s salon (was around the corner at Horton plaza). They’ve always done a good job. New salon is fresh, clean, and calm. Lots of chairs for pedicures and a manicure bar. Reasonable prices and packages.

I’m newer to San Diego, and have tried a few nail salons and the work never met my standards. I stumbled across Vase’s nail salon a couple of weeks ago and I will be a life long customer of Demi! Demi is so attentive to detail and takes time to make sure you’re comfortable. She is efficient with what she does and she does her craft WELL. She introduced me to hard gel/structure gel manicures and I’ll never do anything else ever again. I also go in for a gel pedicure. Her application process with both is outstanding. I am so glad i found this salon and Demi. I highly, highly recommend this salon. I love that they open early too (9am). In and out in an hour and a half for both services. :-)

Demi was absolutely wonderful! I’m a flight attendant, so I often use my layovers to get my nails done. She’s one of the best I’ve ever encountered. She professional, personable and fast! My nails look amazing. I only do dipping powder because I wash my hands so often. My manicure is perfection! I’ll be back to San Diego if only to get my nails done.
