I’ve been getting my cuts from Elsi for a while now, and he’s consistently on point. He pays close attention to detail, listens to what you want, and somehow makes it turn out even better. The shop is always clean, he’s always on time, and you never feel rushed in the chair. If you’re looking for a barber who genuinely cares about his craft and keeps you looking sharp every time, Elsi is the one. Highly recommend.

I've been going to matte blvck downtown on Market St. for the last 6 months. Great atmosphere, chill vibe, good music, great conversations, all the other stylists are friendly, too. My stylist, Natt, is meticulous with the work, eye on fashion including trends, careful, kind, funny, sweet, thoughtful and all the rest! It's one of my monthly appointments I'm excited to attend. She provides an elevated experience every time and I will ALWAYS refer people to her. Matte Blvck III is such an amazing and clean atmosphere. The music is good, never too loud. Karina is the best barber I have ever been to in San Diego she is very professional and so knowledgeable on what she is doing I’ve honestly never felt so comfortable going into a shop before. Honestly can never recommend someone enough!

It was hard to find a barber on a Monday that was accepted walk-ins. Needed to look sharp for a conference, and I came into their shop and was accepted by Karina. The service was beyond expectation! She did a spectacular job, taking her time to deliver the best possible outcome down to the finest detail. I'll surely come back if I ever visit SD again.
