They were able to help me with a chipped nail (glued back together) and I like the gel nails, but they were so hard with the cuticles and other skin areas. When filing, they kept filing against my skin and burning those areas. I had to retract my hands multiple times and tell them that it hurt. Keeping an eye out to see if the gel chips off as other reviews have been saying - it has only been a day so far.

Vanity Beauty Lounge seems to be really nice. I got a gel manicure, and I was very happy with how everything looked right after the appointment. The application was neat, and the colors were beautiful. Unfortunately, the gel started chipping after just 4 days, which is really unusual for me. I regularly get gel nails, and they usually last much longer without any issues. For almost $50 plus tip just for the manicure and gel, I expected the quality to hold up better.

The best mani/pedi in SF. The entire team are just wonderful and friendly. I've been a regular for years now and have, on rare occasion in a pinch tried other salons, none compare to Vanity. My partner's nail polish lasts for weeks and the waxing services are great!

Laurie did a great job! My nails are very thin so they are hard to do but she was very gentle and detail oriented. The salon is so nice, clean, and professional!

Got a pedicure today and it was so great. I was really happy with how detailed she was and how great she did on the nail and cuticle trim and the polish! I’ll be going back again!
