Working with Gary at the Massage Garage has been incredible. Gary is incredible intuitive and well-trained - you are working with a professional with mastery of their craft. I've had Long Covid for years, resulting in significant muscle tension and pain, and Gary was not only able to help alleviate that pain through neuromuscular therapy together over multiple sessions, but was able to help me understand how to sleep better/move my body in better ways to not end up in pain in the first place. As a patient with chronic pain and illness, I cannot recommend someone like Gary highly enough. He is also extremely emotionally aware, kind and pays real attention to his client's own observations and feedback, making each session beyond worth it.

I’ve seen Gary at The Massage Garage three times now and I already feel a huge difference in my body. Gary understands body mechanics incredibly well and he teaches you both helpful tips to try between sessions and what’s going on that might be causing discomfort. As Gary says, this is not a spa massage. It is powerful, effective bodywork. If you are someone who experiences pain or discomfort in your body, do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Gary!

I’ve been seeing Gary at The Massage Garage on and off for over 6 years, and I cannot recommend his services enough. I was originally referred to him for chronic knee pain caused by years of restaurant work. Thanks to Gary’s expertise, not only did my pain disappear, but he also taught me techniques to prevent future injuries. More recently, I returned to see him following major shoulder surgery. His work was instrumental in helping me regain my mobility during recovery. Whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, recovering from surgery, or just want your body to perform at its best, Gary is the person to see!

I am a personal trainer and was originally looking for a deep tissue massage to relieve my ankle pain. I thought I had a sprain for the past 4-6 weeks. I am so happy I found Gary because through the trigger point massage work, Gary was able to identify the cause of my ankle issue - my soleus or calf muscle. I felt much better after the initial massage and was able to walk without an ankle brace 2 days later. I have also been foam rolling the other areas he identified through the trigger point massage and have been feeling so much relief all over my body. After my initial 120 massage, I came back for Radial Shockwave Therapy and will follow up with those results soon!

I only wish I'd been introduced to Gary and The Massage Garage sooner. He's a God-send! Along with the healing treatments I've received for almost two years now (for chronic muscle tension/aches), he's taught me valuable lessons on the neuromuscular relationship and how to give my body the balance and restoration it needs - from simple exercises that help reverse the effects of a desk job and phone addiction to other stretches and tips I can sneak in anytime to keep my muscles and joints more fluid and happy. Gary has a sixth-sense for what's actually going on and all of the interconnectedness within the body. He's observant, kind, patient, non-judgmental, professional and skilled. And he really cares, you can just sense it. I'm grateful to have the Massage Garage as part of my wellness
