I am absolutely ecstatic about my experience with Abby at the Rockwell location. She not only did phenomenal color correction on my over bleached hair, but she helped me recover from user error when I disrupted the beautiful tone she'd given me. On a personal level, she's always positive, which in today's climate is a refreshing reset from the daily grind. I absolutely appreciate her authentic and attentive connection.

I have been in customer service for over 30 years so I am both appreciative of great service and forgiving of hiccups in service. I have waited a week to write this review because I didn’t want to let any emotions rule my statements. However, my experience at The salon the Tuesday before Thanksgiving was the worst treatment I have ever experienced. . I have been getting my haircut at all of the locations pretty much since they opened. My schedule is crazy so I have a few stylists that I alternate from depending on who can get me in last minute. I had been to this salon with the stylist Abbie just 4 months prior so I set another appt with her for a cut and color. I failed to get her name, but the attendant was absolutely amazing! Im mid-30s and this was my first time with make-up. She walked me through each step until I got it down and explained things thoroughly. Color corrector, setting powder, concealer. So very helpful, kind, and non-judgemental! The ladies here are so kind. Thank you so much for making this uncomfortable situation a delightful experience.

I had a terrible experience at Ulta. I went in to purchase makeup I needed for my state board exam and tried to use my Ulta credit card, which I confirmed is active. The cashier said they “couldn’t find it,” so I had to use my debit card with overdraft protection — something I never use — just to complete my purchase. As soon as I went to print my receipt, the store lost power. That wasn’t anyone’s fault, but when the power came back on, I was told I couldn’t leave with my items until they could find proof of the transaction — even though I had already seen the charge hit my account. I waited almost an hour, going in and out of the store, and watched everyone else’s receipts print except mine. This Ulta is absolutely terrible I have never felt so upset leaving Ulta. The customer service is non existent. Asking about birthday they said sorry we can’t help you call customer service even after showing id she said nope up to me the website shows your birthday in December clearly that’s a mistake. Then refused to honor 100% tax exempt after I said that’s against the law she with attitude agreed! We live in middle of no where this is a 3 hour drive for us to be met with rude behavior. I hope the manager can see this and have a conversation with staff how you treat customers.
