The best salon in DC hands down. I’ve been a few times now and Mercedes always rocks anything I throw at her. ++ they do the most for the local community and for orgs/people in need. The loveliest most thoughtful out space with all the amazing talent!

Allie has been the best hair dresser I’ve ever had! Been going to her for over two years. She’s been honest// patient and because of that I always get compliments on how healthy my hair looks! She’s let me go crazy with colors in responsible ways and not overcharged me for any services I may think I need. Love this place and all their products!

I wish I lived closer, but trust when I'm visiting DC, no one touches this hair but Mercedes. Not only is she so talented, but you can see how much she cares about the well-being of the entire community, staff and customers alike. Bonus gold stars for their tiny shop of beautifully curated products—perfect for gift-giving. Trim is the absolute best and I can't recommend them enough!

I’ve been going to Allie for 2-3 years for balayage and had to go to other stylists when she broke her arm. I quickly learned that no one compares to her! Her understanding of color theory, bleaching, and toning is unmatched and she knows exactly the right solution to arrive to your desired outcome. Not only that, but she has an amazing “bedside” manner and is so skilled at being a personable conversationalist and putting people at ease. She could probably maintain a conversation with a brick wall. I’ve been taking a hair hiatus but I’m excited to go to Allie again when I resume!

Trim is an outstanding salon. People stop me on the street to compliment my hair color because they do such amazing work. One thing I really, really appreciate is that they still require masks - especially now that covid rates are going back up and vaccines are hard to get. I can relax and enjoy being there because I know they care just as much about my health as they do my hair.
