Joao is very nice, friendly, and can do a great skin fade and I'm pretty particular about my hair. He did exactly what I asked and I was whipping my hair around all day today. Go see Joao!

I had a really nice experience at this salon yesterday. I was immediately greeted and they offered to hang my bag and coat while I got my hair washed & cut. It's a small salon so its not overwhelmingly loud or busy. Both women working were very nice. The stylist that did my hair worked efficiently and she did exactly what I asked for. I didn't have to call to make an appointment, you can book online, but they also accept walk ins. I will definitely be coming here again 😊

Came from MD for a cut, great experience with Joao. Perfect scissor cut and shampoo experience in DC for a good price for students ($40). He saw the picture of the cut I wanted and I got that same cut but better

I’d like to preface this by saying that I rarely write reviews, but this haircut I got today from Rosaline is probably the worst haircut I’ve ever had. Rosaline was nice, but very unprofessional. I left today with 5-6 inches cut off my hair and really choppy, uneven layers. I cried after leaving because I was so upset. I specifically asked to keep long layers in my hair and showed her exactly where I wanted the shortest layer. However, the shortest layer is at least 3 inches shorter than what I asked for and isn’t blended into the rest of my hair at all. I washed my hair when I got home, hoping to make it better, and it looks even worse. My

I believe her name was Rosaline, she gave me a pretty good haircut. When it comes to a haircut you have to be really specific about what you want. I told her what I wanted and she explained to me what she was going to do with my hair as well give suggestions. It came out well really nice and I have no complaints. I also appreciated that she washed my hair and the service was pretty quick.
