Tina Nails And Spa

I wanted something cool for Black History Month so I showed them a picture for inspiration. The young lady did some amazing work and they lasted for weeks! Soooo many compliments and I know the price was lower because I’m a regular. Nice nails make my day and they really try to have you satisfied! I’m very particular and overall they do nice work!

Reading the last review gave me the go on posting mine. There was a time, that I was a FAITHFUL customer going in every 2-3 weeks for nails and pedicures. The last encounter I had there, the young lady that was doing my nails was not doing a good job in that the acrylic she applied was SO LUMPY and uneven that I said something about it. Usually if it's not too bad or noticeable I would let it slide but that day it was BAD. So.....i asked her to correct it several times and it got worse each time. She was super sweet but the language barrier played a major part. Finally they started speaking in their native language then she says "Tina will do" ok..so no problem right? WRONG...Tina's attitude was so nasty it threw me. She was frustrated I guess at the situation and THEN to add insult to inj

Called Tina's on New Year's Eve to find out that they were closing early. I offered a $30 tip so that they would take me and they obliged. Less than 24 hours later, my nails are chipping. It was New Year's Day so they were closed so I had to wait until the following day. Go in, show my nails, every last nail that I had this particular color on was chipping one of the nails the polish was almost completely off. After they redid my nails, she wanted to charge me $10 because I changed the color!! Why would I get the same color just to have it chipped all over again! Tina's attitude was very nasty mind you I've been coming to this salon for over 10 years faithfully every 2 to 3 weeks! Please do not got to this business. This business will give you a nail fungus. I went in to get my acrylic nails removed and just decided to get a manicure. Underneath was a fungus u see several fingers. I tried to ask the lady who was working on my nails about it and she waved me off and acted like she didn’t understand what I was asking her. Also an older lady told me that I needed to just put more acrylic (a full set) on it. They could care less about my nails. They just wanted the money. This is not a good nail salon despite the glam and glitter of the establishment. Beware. They also charged my credit card last year twice for one visit and never gave me back my money. I thought I’d give them another chance. My mistake. I should not have never gone back.

The guy who serviced me was super angry during my whole experience! To the point that my pedicure became painful. He frowned the whole time and my pedicure lasted exactly 18mins. My feet look rushed, the big toe was clipped and chopped up (no filing) there is nail polish all over my outer nails and no attempt to clip my cuticles at all! The absolute worse pedicure I have ever had. My feet is currently burning from the rough scrubbing and manhandling. I spoke with the manager and she was nice enough to offer me $10 off the next time I come but I am positive that I will never be returning! Save your money, time, and the pain and go someplace else.
