STRAIGHT HAIR BEWARE. I asked Shawn Lynk if he was good at cutting straight hair and he assured me he was. I asked for a “scissor professional cut combed to the side, with about 1/3 taken off the sides and 1/4 taken off the top.” Shawn cut way too short, leaving no shape on the sides. He buzzed the corners of my “bangs” off, which will take months to return. He had no idea what he was doing.

I absolutely love this place. My son started getting his hair cut here at the age of 2 back in 2014. I've recommended several people here over the years including relatives who love it as well. Keep up the great work.

1. My sons have hair that is straight, but with just enough curl in it that it cannot be done at a non-black barber shop. 2. They always seem to have availability here, and that is because their prices might be a couple of dollars higher than other barber shops around here. 3. The barber is pleasant and does a good job.

Honestly in disbelief at how bad my haircut is. Asked for a fade didn’t fade it one bit and he offered to trim up the top “take a few ends off” but gave me a buzz cut and missed spots. Still paid, just cannot believe this is what I got worst haircut ever. Never have left a review anywhere before.

Slow as hell. Only worth going if Linda is cutting your hair. She's a goddess! She is personable with great skill, a smile and she doesn't take all day to do a haircut like the guys who work there. Also, the black barbers need to be more experienced in cutting Caucasian hair. My friend and I left with cuts that needed more accurate blending. Took us almost 2 hours to even get into barber's chairs. No sense of urgency or accuracy with the men that work there.
