Kate was incredible! I was so nervous to try someplace new. I've seen the same hair stylist for over 5 years and had to find someone new. I always get nervous that hair dressers will cut more than I ask, but Cate cut my hair perfectly and kept it long like I like. I love that she listened to me and did a beautiful job styling it. I will be going back to her every hair cut/dye now!

I can’t say enough good things about Kate and the people at Tilila. Not only is she an absolute gem of a human being but she’s also a master at her craft. She makes everyone that walks through the door feel seen and invited. She’s incredibly attentive and you can tell her goal is to make sure you walk out being in love with your hair. I wanted to get my hair dyed for the first time and Kate steered me so correctly and gave me my dream color, while also prioritizing my hair’s natural tone, texture, and overall health. The products that they keep at Tilila are top notch, and for my color we used an ammonia free, semi-permanent dye that gave me the exact color I was looking for. I've been seeing Kate for nearly 5 years. Her new salon is a testament to her commitment to her craft. She has taken my hair from dull and dry to healthy and thick! She is a master in blonde hair, specifically foil highlights. My color always looks bright, warm, and perfectly blended. Kate has seen my hair through a pregnancy, and a journey from blonde to copper and back to blonde! I highly recommend her salon and her services. Rushed, Dismissive, and Overcharged. Worst Haircut Experience I've Ever Had. I walked into Talila Hair Design hoping to walk out feeling confident. Instead, I left feeling exploited, disrespected, and looking worse than when I arrived. I showed up on time for my appointment only to be told they were running behind. I politely let the stylist know I had a hard stop due to another commitment (offering to come back another time) and explained what I was hoping to get done. None of it mattered. When I sat down and tried to show him a reference photo of what I wanted, he literally walked away mid-sentence. He never looked at the photo. Felt like he steamrolled and just decided for me. She is not only perfection at hair color but also a lovely person. We have become quite close. It is also a family hair color destination. Both of my stunning girls see Kate for their balayage.
