I’ve always been protective over my hair, so getting a haircut has honestly felt nerve racking for me in the past, but Katie completely changed that experience. From the very first appointment, she has been incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Even after moving an hour away, I still make the drive to see her for my haircuts. Katie is a fabulous human being and hair goddess! I've been struggling with my hair lately and decided to do a big chop. I brought in a few pictures for inspiration and she gave me realistic feedback based on what she thought would look best on me, and for my curly hair. I'm LOVING my hair cut!!! We took off a lot and I'm hoping with consitent trims we can keep it happy and healthy!

Jaime has been cutting and coloring my hair for years. She is so talented and an absolute sweetheart as well. She is amazing and creative when it comes to vivid colors. Katie is also amazing, she's done my hair on a few occasions and is who my bf sees for his hair. I love their new space at Thrive, it's private, clean and well-maintained. During the pandemic it is important to me that safety procedures are being followed and the setup they have allows me to be the only client in the room, which is a plus.

Jaime is so talented! I have trusted her to cut and color my hair for 7+ years! She has always done a wonderful job to make sure that the health of my hair is priority while still giving me what I wanted. She’s as honest and professional as they come. She was formerly at Hair Excitement in Durham and it’s so exciting to see her style, personality and talents shine in her own salon now.
