I’ve been going to Salt Salon and seeing Cat for my regular haircuts for years, so working with Cat to handle all of the hair styling for my wedding was an easy decision! Her and Sarah absolutely exceeded every expectation. They styled hair for me, six bridesmaids, and two moms, and every single look came out beautifully. They traveled to my venue, arrived on time, and were professional, caring, and genuinely fun to work with. They even finished ahead of schedule, which made the morning feel relaxed and stress-free! I felt so confident and happy with my hair, and everyone looked amazing. I couldn’t recommend Cat and Sarah enough for wedding day hair!

I had the best experience with Makayla! I am just passing through Portsmouth but desperately needed a color and trim. When I found out Salt did walk-in’s, I decided to give it a shot. I walked in with a warm greeting from Makayla, told her my situation, and she gladly took me in for the morning. My wedding is coming up, and Makayla has made my hair color dreams come true!! She really took the time to hear my voice and my goals for stylish and healthy hair. If I lived here, I would make her my go to hair dresser. The atmosphere and stations were clean and tidy, great music and conversation. I cant say enough good things about Makayla and Salt Salon!

I went to Tavehi this past year at her previous salon but she gave me the most gorgeous curl cut. It was my first ever curl cut so I was definitely nervous and I told Tavehi everything I wanted and didn’t like and she made it come to life. I have never received the amount of compliments on my hair ever until the cut she gave me. I have recommended every single curly girl and any of my friends to her because of how wonderful my service was. Two of my friends who saw her had nothing but kind words for their services. I am planning to revisit soon but if you are looking for a new stylist who really cares and values you Tavehi is your girl!!

I had a highlight session with a stylist at Salt Salon that I was not completely satisfied with. I reached out to the owner Amanda and received a prompt and thoughtful response. She clearly addressed my concerns and was tactful in how she interacted with me. I appreciated the validation that she provided me. Amanda was able to get me on her schedule immediately (on her day off, might I add) to do a color correction, free of charge. Although I was nervous that the session might be a bit awkward, she provided me with warm conversation and thanked me for reaching out. I appreciated how she explained the process and gave me insight on future coloring sessions that we would have.
