Found Shy on tiktok and I am so glad I had my first brazilian wax with her. She made me feel so comfortable and took most of my nerves away. The vibes and aesthetics of her space is very welcoming and free of any judgement. If you're on the fence about waxing, I wouldn't be worried and would encourage you to visit Shy, especially if it's your first time getting an intimate waxing experience.

The environment was not only cute but sanitary. She has an amazing bedside manner and actually took the time to make sure I was completely hairless!! I’m so used to going in and spending 15 mins for a 70 dollar Brazilian at EWC. I am neverrrr going back after my time at skin shy. She spend triple the time and went over areas she wasn’t happy with. Her prices are affordable and the location is ideal for anyone in hamden, New Haven, orange, Bridgeport ect.

I had a great experience getting my wax done! It was surprisingly not painful at all—she made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She was super friendly, helpful, and walked me through the process, which really put me at ease. The pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of service. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

I found Shy on instagram and didn’t hesitate to book my eyebrows lamination and tint. She is so kind and professional making sure she explains everything as she goes. Though I didn’t book shaping she was kind enough to ask if I wanted it and I agreed. My eyebrows look great! She is very detailed and makes sure you are satisfied and explains aftercare before leaving. I will be going back for facials and waxing services in the very near future.
