Matt's Barber Shop

Matt is an excellent barber who actually knows how to do a scissor cut. He does other types of cut and shaves too. I drive 45 minutes to get there. I've tried to find someone else closer to home, but have yet to find any as skilled as Matt. I highly recommend him.

Matt is a class act and he has been cutting mine and my sons hair for over 8 years and we both enjoy a visit to Matt's. His new place is setup so nice with plenty of parking and the inside is always spotless. Matt always has a great attitude and is amazing at holding a conversation with myself or my son. Now most importantly Matt is an amazing Barber and pays attention to detail. He is great with clippers and scissors. He will give you more than you ask for and also takes his time and just doesn't rush you out of his chair. That tells me he cares about his customer and the work that he provides.!! I’ve been a customer of Matt’s for years before he opened his own shop. I’ve always preferred to keep my hair longer, and Matt has always known what to do with it where many other barbers have not. I have never gotten anything but excellent haircuts from Matt. He’s also really friendly if you feel like talking, but also respects quiet if you’re more on the shy side like I am. Great quality cuts and affordable pricing.

Matt was able to take me in on very short notice and gave me a very fine haircut and even went back over it to take more off after I found the initial result to be a little longer than I hoped. He is very personable and easy to talk to (or not talk to, as I think he reads his audience well and can take the hint if you want to just be quiet while you're in the chair). One of the rare long-haired male barbers I've ever encountered, just as a side comment. I will be going back to Matt regularly and I would recommend anyone to. I wish his business well. Update, 2022-02-08: Matt's still doing a great job. Unfortunately, I am moving out of state and I'll have to find a new barber :-(
