The Nail Spa

I normally don’t leave reviews, and I feel bad because I have always had good service here, but I went in on Sunday for dip + tips and I noticed right away that the nails were see through, spotty, and extremely thin. Other than that they looked good, so I left. Within 24 hours two nails broke when I was changing clothes, and another broke very easily. I went back and they fixed it for free, but the next day two more nails broke with very little pressure, even as I was being extremely careful to preserve them. I went back the next day to ask about a refund because clearly the nails were rushed and too thin, but they just offered to fix the same ones again. I declined, and yet another nail broke later that day.

Sooooo this dude first of all sprayed my damn fingers with airbrush and gel paint instead of acrylic . Shapes all crosseyed and then acts like Im thr problem. They gave me a terrible tech Tried to rush theough my nails and act like I was rhe problem when I said no Made a huge spectacle out of me when I said I did not like them Told her plainly the charge would be disputed Nails sticking to everything bc even the uv dryer was trash. This place is for teenagers on a budget not professionals with standards- they try to reel u in with cheap prices but I only came over here bc my EV needed to charge.

The staff are nice but the service is not good. I got my nails done 12/04 and they chipped within 24 hours (see picture below). It’s been two weeks now and 6 out of my 10 nails are so chipped you can’t even see the French design. I understand damage and chipping that comes with time but I’ve gotten my nails done several times before and never experienced this amount of chipping before. This was my first time at this location and I’m very disappointed.

The best nail salon in Gainesville. I have been coming here since freshman year (I’m a senior now) and I have never had an issue. The people are talented, sweet, and respectful. 100% recommend.

Went in today for the first time for a pedicure, will absolutely be back! Went without an appointment on a Saturday and they were able to see me relatively quickly. The pedicure chairs are fabulous, nicest that I’ve ever seen. The staff was very kind, professional and thorough. So relaxing!
