The Emerald Salt Spa

I purchased groupon for infrared sauna and was highly disappointed. The receptionist was very friendly, and that's only nice thing I can say about this place. The sauna was extremely uncomfortable, there is no way to relax there! There is no way to lay down, or lean against the wall, and on the top of everything the laundry was done in the next room. I could clearly hear the machine going on!

I purchased a Groupon for three infrared saunas. There was a lot of trash outside the building upon coming in. Walking in there is a very strong cigarette smoke smell, it’s hard to tell if it’s just embedded into the building or was fresh. The receptionist was pleasant. The infared sauna was great ⭐️⭐️⭐️ but at one point I had to step out bc I was too hot. It was hard to breath the stale cigarette air quality. I am chemical sensitive and working through autoimmune. (Why I want to cleanse) so it was intense. I also was kinda grossed out by the bathroom. It looked like it was a shared bathroom with the rest of the house. Like a busy family or a bachelor pad .. Just unclean. The sauna and the little room where nice and felt clean. They burn incense at this spa for anyone else that may be sens

I had a horrible experience here! I was excited to try an infrared sauna for the first time and have a peaceful, healing experience. But, as soon as I walked in the door there was a strong smell of cigarettes. While I was in the sauna I was trying to meditate, but all I could hear was stomping and sighing from the woman working there (Tina). When I politely told her about this, I hoped we could turn things around, but she was unhelpful. She seemed very flustered and the overall vibe was very off. I decided to leave my sauna early. She only took $10 off.

Booked an appointment online and on the day of my appointment, I arrived on time and no one was here. I waited for over 30 mins, calling and emailing and no answer. An employee (did not catch name but she was at least 70 years old) then showed up stating she was stuck in traffic and didn’t even know there was an appointment scheduled today. The employee then stated she could do the massage after she arrived but not to be ageist, I don’t think getting a massage from her would be worth my money. I asked for a refund as I was very disappointed with the overall experience. This employee called the manger “Phylis” and the manger stated they could not give refunds and that we can only reschedule, which is ridiculous as it’s not stated anywhere on their website. I will NOT being going back.

Small hidden Gem in the West. Less upscale than european standard. Cottage vibe, creaky walls noisy machines. Bath relaxing and restorative. No option to drain water as hot water added if you're small. Bring neck towel or pillow for your head. Receptionist is kind and attentive. Could improve by dusting plants around bath rim, offering aromas in bath, adding a book tray. Can't wait to try salt room.
