The Color Studio by Melissa

The best cut and color I have ever had! I had been thinking of changing hairstylist for a while. I went on the internet and found The Color Studio by Melissa. I was NOT disappointed! My experience from beginning to end was great. The studio was beautiful and very relaxing. Melissa listened to what I wanted and the results were beautiful and beyond expectations. May I also mention the shampoo, WOW. I think I might go in for a shampoo and blow out in between color appointments it felt soooo good. I am definitely going to become a regular client. Thanks Melissa for such a wonderful experience!

I've only been in VA a little over a year. So far I've been to 2 other salons trying to get what I wanted. Didn't happen.So I get settled in a chair at Melissa's shop, told her what I wanted and she did not disappoint! I went in there, met a stranger & left with a new friend. Her salon was bright & cozy & the atmosphere was awesome! I have now found my go to place for my hair!

I decided on a whim to get my hair colored, thankfully Melissa allowed me to come in same day. I sent her pictures of what i wanted and told her that my hair was thick+long. I was going to go from natural hair color (brown) to Denim (Washed out blue, ombre). I was told it would be half their normal price since i was a new customer, so it ended up being just over 100$ (normally over 200$) She initially stated it would take 2 hours, which ended up being 4, which i understand. The process was well and good, it was my first time having my hair colored so i do not have much to go on for experience.
