Hair By John

I found John almost by accident when my old barber was unavailable. I say "old" barber, because I'm never going anywhere else for a haircut. He's been cutting for almost 60 years and knows more about hair than I know about anything. I can't remember the last time I had a haircut this good, but his true mastery is with beards. Not only that, but the price is completely reasonable. I couldn't recommend John more highly.

John was recommended to me by a friend whose beard is always impeccable, so I went in with high expectations—and he absolutely delivered. He took his time, shared a wealth of knowledge about beard and hair care, and transformed my overgrown mess into something sharp and well-groomed. My wife dropped me off and arrived to pick me up just as John was finishing. She stepped inside, took one look at me, and said she couldn’t remember the last time I’d had such a great haircut and beard trim. On the drive home, she told me I’d never looked that good walking out of a barber shop. That says it all!

Heard others say he is fantastic and gave it a go. They were right, John is a master of his craft. My haircuts at other places have been inconsistent and random, but John gets it right every. single. time. He’s getting pretty booked up so I guess people have found out how good he is lol.

When I moved to the area a few years ago my first concern was finding a barber that knew how to cut my hair the way that I loved and knew how to properly maintain a beard. I hopped around a few places and gave a couple barbers a go for a short period but never had a consistent cut with them. Luckily for me, I stumbled into the shop John was working at when I was desperately in need of a cut and holy crap was I not disappointed. John listened to what I wanted and immediately got to work.
