The Barber School

Received a haircut here yesterday, and I wouldn't recommend. The first red flag was the lack of instructors. At good haircutting schools, the instructor will walk through the haircut with the student and you so that everyone is on the same page. Not once did an instructor talk to the student cutting my hair or me. This could be forgiveable if it was a good cut, and when I left, I was happy as I thought the cut was fine. Then I got home and my wife was horrified. Not only was it uneven and choppy, but there was a huge nick cut out of the back of my hair (that the student didn't say anything about and that an instructor would have caught). I had to go get a real haircut immediately after. Wouldn't recommend until they make some significant changes with how involved the instructors are.

Came in to get a quick clean up, I scheduled with Drake. He went above and beyond making sure all my needs were met and that I was going to leave the shop looking dapper! I’ve been to a handful of schools to get my haircut since prices are cheap, but this was a different experience than I’ve ever had! Thank you so much Drake! I would just like to express my deep appreciation for this school! Because without it i wouldn't be able to do my dream career! Sarah is such an amazing person! She helped me every step of the way! Every other school wouldn't help me and i honestly was crushed but Sarah did what ever she could to help make things work and i really hope she will read this because i am extremely greatful 💓 Thank you to all the staff members! You guys Rock!

This afternoon around 2:00 my partner and I went to get our hair cut like we usually do every weekend and the lady from the lobby was very rude to us. The truth is I really like coming to this academy because the students do a very good job. But they shouldn't let people with a bad attitude in customer service because it makes you want to never come back and recommend the place I give her 1 star for her lousy and arrogant service.

I like the service, the location, the staff’s attention, and the prices. Overall, the quality is good. However, the waiting times are extremely long when there are graduation events. We have gone twice by coincidence during graduations, and on both occasions we waited up to two and a half hours to be served, which is excessive. Because of the long wait, the haircut was not exactly what was requested. At that point, after waiting so long, we decided to leave it as it was. Normally, we love this school—my family has been coming here for over 10 years for haircuts. This is a small area for improvement. Aside from this issue, we still 100% recommend this place.
