Salt City Barbershop – Midvale, UT

This place is hands down one of the best shops I’ve ever gone to. I’ve been to so many barbershops over the years and it’s nice to finally find “your barber”. I looked up Jakobi a few years ago. His bio said he’s an instructor and that got me in. I have now been seeing Jakobi every two weeks for three years now. His level to detail and talent is top notch and I couldn’t imagine going to anyone else

Would definitely recommend this shop. Dominic was awesome, he is a super personable guy. He gave me a great cut and even offered me 3 days to reach out and have him go shorter or do a touch up for free which I’ve never had offered to me before. I’ve been through plenty of barber shops in salt lake and this is the only I’d ever come back to.

Stopped in super randomly on a Wednesday afternoon. Malarie was amazing. I had a pretty thick beard and she did a perfect job trimming it down and then straight razoring my face. Also an immaculate haircut. 10/10 recommend. I’ll definitely be back.

Went in today for a shave and nose hair wax on the recommendation of a friend. Very welcoming place with good vibes: coffee, andes mints, old school barber chairs, well stocked bathrooms. This is definitely an upscale experience. Malarie was amazing: friendly, good conversationalist, gentle and very attentive to detail. Highly recommend her✨ Service includes hot towel, steam, etc. So luxe. You'll leave feeling like a million bucks. 👑 Pro tip: don't forget to ask if you were a good boy so you get a free hot wheels car 😉😂

Freaking AMAZING! Malarie gave me the best haircut of my life. It was the first time in years I went home, and my wife noticed I got it cut!! Great vibe professional service worth every penny!! I have found my new home in Salt City. Thanks, Malarie, for bringing out the best side of me!
