Do not go to the heavyset light skin dude Derec. He’s a cool wholesome guy, but his clippers left scars all over my head. And he was under the influence while cutting me so he forgot to put the taper in the back of my head as well.

I usually let things go. I usually move on. But what happened at this barbershop left me so shocked, so frustrated, and so honestly heartbroken that I feel compelled to tell my story—not out of anger, but out of the hope that nobody else goes through what I personally went through. From the very moment I stepped inside, something felt wrong to me. The air felt heavy, carrying an overwhelming, unpleasant smell that made me want to turn around immediately. Still, I tried to give them a chance. I remember thinking, *“Maybe it’s just a rough day.”* I wish that had been the case. During my first visit, the haircut experience felt, in my personal view, rushed, careless, and frightening. I ended up bleeding from my head, which left me shocked and terrified.
