I heard about the YMCA offices here and went to talk to them about volunteering. The staff was working from home but were very helpful on the phone. Building also houses a couple of other not-for-profit organizations. Place has great security and looked clean. 😊

One of the more popular venues and communities for non-profits, the 2100 building features a convenient cafe by Farestart, many big meeting rooms for the community, and is home to several prominent non-profits within the community. There is always events going on for organizations, so I would recommend if you are thinking of booking this for your next event, book it in advance. The venues are always clean and well-organized and have someone on staff at the front for any questions you might have.

Short story, I was homeless at 16 moved back in with my adoptive parent.. I've been in the foster care system, fast forward.. at 18 I needed assistance paying my rent and the 2100 building could not provide me with any help! I've been trying to get assistance since I was hit by a car 3 years ago and lost my job. Every single time I call, I leave a message. I've never been called back and the people around me are successfully getting a hold of these people! I don't know what the hell is going on but someone better call me ASAP!!! I've been waiting entirely too long for a simple call back and you people are calling people back within days! I will leave a message every single day for the next 30 days until someone from the office calls me back!

If you are purging your closets (and your kids' closets) and want your items to go to kids and young adults that need and will really appreciate them, give them to Treehouse - they support foster children and young adults. You can call before, but you don't have to. There are big bins with wheels located towards the back of the lobby area. You can simply drop your items off there. Clothes for young adults going to job interviews are needed. Hook'em up! It's a really great cause!

The 2100 building is a cute little place in the middle of Mount Baker. It can be a bit difficult to get to since it is on a side street. But it's easy to bus to. Not sure about parking. Holds a lot of really wonderful businesses and non profits.
