Decent haircut and doesn’t look bad. Only issue is it wasn’t what I asked for and am now stuck growing out the hair on one side of my head due to an unsolicited side part I was given. I think the issue I had was with how fast the hair is cut. It’s difficult to apply any attention to detail with a 10 min cut. If you’re looking to let a barber decide your cut and want to get in and out extremely fast, this is a good spot.

It's hard to believe someone could leave Jay a bad review. I've been getting my haircut at barbershops for years in various cities. I've had cuts in Chicago, Detroit, and Miami. Jays work and service is just as good. I think Jay provides a great service, is a good conversationalist, keeps a clean environment, and has a very fair price point. I've only lived in the city for a few months and he's my go to guy for sure. I would recommend him strongly to anyone.

There is another review on here about long wait times. Jay and his dad both take their time cutting your hair. They won't rush just because there are other people waiting. You might see this as a bad thing but I just see it as Jay takes his job seriously and wants to make sure he does right be each customer. I head across the city to have these gents cut my hair because they are nice, remember me, and are good at what they do.

Hands down the best barber I've ever been to. Jay and his father know how to cut hair perfectly. Jay spends the extra time needed to tailor a haircut that fits what you need, he goes above and beyond. You can't beat the price

Favorite barber in SF. Jay is a super nice guy and cuts hair how I like it everytime. He's like an older brother to me as well, with good advice alongside getting my hair cut. I will say that I like Isa, Jay's father don't my cuts much better though. He's old school to the bone--and a one of the nicest person I've ever met. This shop reminds me of going to the barber as kid... Hope he reopens after all the Covid closures. Thanks, M
