Sunrise Nails

Some of my nails were left thick, others thin, and a few were curved awkwardly—looking almost like a bird’s beak. I asked the technician to fix the curved nail, but unfortunately, it only made it worse. I expected better care and attention to detail. Not worth $70. I won’t be returning.

My mom an I come to this nail salon every two weeks it was hard finding a nail place that care about your nails and actually do a good job! It’s sanitary everyone is nice & the nail techs are very nurturing! We literally drive 45 minutes just to come here and we don’t plan on changing. I suggested that they make a social media so they can show they skills they also do waxes & henna eyebrows! Love it here💙 tech at seat 2 & 7 are the bomb! Keep it up ladies…

NEVER AGAIN!!! This is by far the worst nail salon I’ve ever used! Asked for a clear pink nail paint with a V of glitter on the tip as shown in the first image. The technician placed three coats of glitter claiming the glitter wouldn’t be seen. I didn’t complain because some techs in other locations smooth gel paint if it gets too lumpy while designing but this tech didn’t and thought I would leave with lumpy horrible looking nails. When I asked for them to remove the glitter and just leave my nails pink, the tech and owner (I assume) got an attitude. The tech even threw my hand away after repainting one hand. Absolutely the unsafest nail salon you can step foot in. Within two days, after getting a gel nail polish set, my nails started chipping at the tips and a nail infection started around my cuticle :-(. This place does not clean their supplies unless you ask them to, and reuses buffers plus nail files. Their hair removal wax contains chemicals that are harsh for the skin, and they double dip in the wax using the same wand. I was appalled by what I witnessed and decided not to get a pedicure after my gel set. Be careful out there ladies and gents; this is one of those nail salons that reside in a black and brown communities but have no integrity or care for the health and safety of its residents. I will be reporting them to the Cosmetology Board of Maryland for unethical practices.

For the most part, they do a good job. They are polite and professional. However, when I ask the technician to fix obvious invisible inconsistencies with a nail length they act like they don't know how to. Also the nail tech I had today was so pressed to get me out of there She forgot to put clear nail polish as a top coat on my left hand. And I wasn't paying attention so I didn't realize until I left. Some of my nails are slanted upward.I've been twice. The first time I was satisfied but this second time is making me think twice about going back.
