I was looking for a natural hair salon that specialized in natural hair. I walked in today and was greeted my Amari. The first encounter was polite and professional at first. So shorty after I shared with Amari that I had my own hair products and comb that I bring to all my hair salon/braiding appointments. Will that be a problem no eye contact Amari stated I don’t need this (my new comb in the package) and handed it back to me quickly and then stared I prefer to use my shampoo and conditioner first then I’ll use yours after. I said ok no problem I didn’t wanna go back and forth because I can see she was a little irritated because how dare you bring your own shampoo and conditioner that how I received her body language as she walked away preparing to service me. I have been a customer of Asili hair care from the beginning and have always had wonderful experiences. I've had the opportunity to be cared for by different stylist and they each took their time to care for my hair and understand it. I definitely recommend going to them for natural hair care, including protective styles and crochet styles, which is my go to.

I have been a client of this salon for almost 2 years. I feel welcome during each appointment and I trust that they are equally invested in the health of my hair. I would recommend them to anyone interested in maintaining their hair in a natural, healthy way.

First time at Asili and I was not disappointed. I, like most people have locs that grow unevenly (I also have CCNA Alopecia), I just wanted a wash and a cut so that my locs were a little more even. Amari, washed my hair and cut it to my liking. She was communicative when she was running a bit late—that is always appreciated. All the stylists there greeted me and overall, I felt very comfortable. I generally do my hair and haven’t been in a salon in years, so this was a great reintroduction. I will also say, the Made for Locs products, amazing. I couldn’t leave without purchasing some, as my hair loved the products. I will be back again!

I had a decent experience at Asili Hair Care. I would say the services were overpriced for what I got. I got crochet braids with Melissa. The braid down only lasted about a week before the braids started unraveling/popping out. Not a horrible experience but I was expecting more.
