Unprofessional and unethical experience. I rented a suite from Chiqueta and paid commission per service. When I couldn't meet on her terms, she gave me 48 hours to vacate, then changed the locks in less than 24. She still owes me $200 for services I provided and tried to deduct $100 for a client I had a separate agreement with. This wasn't about unpaid rent I paid what I owed. When she doesn't get her way, she changes terms, withholds money, and retaliates. I don't recommend her as a stylist or business owner. I’d also like to notate she’s done my hair a few times some I’ve paid others we traded services. No matter what she’ll have you in the salon ALLLL day maybe have you come back the next day.. even for simple styles that don’t require more than 1 hour. On top of the waiting your hair

First time with Studio 53six and it was Amazing! Chiqueta was my stylist and did a phenomenal job bleaching my hair, styling and cutting. She was very patient during the whole process and such a fun bright personality. I would definitely recommend going here to anyone who wants a service well done. Will definitely be returning. Was worth the drive for sure from Zeeland to Potage and then portage to Grand Rapids.

Was my first time at this salon and if I could rate it a 10 I would! From the time I scheduled an appointment with the owner Chiqueta I was treated with a top tier level of professionalism and kindness. And when I arrived at her beautiful salon for my appointment, her energy remained the same. Needless to say, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY HAIR! The aesthetician JosLynae was very kind as well. I love the service she rendered my eyebrows (shaping and tinting) and I’m excited about my upcoming appointment for lash extensions with her as well! To sum it up, if you’re looking for any service they supply get there fast not slow! Trust, you will thank me later!😊

Today the stylist Chiqueta Moore along with making my hair look oh so beautiful and healthy the experience was A1!! She took her time with my hair gave me the best top of the line hair treatments educated me let me know what she was doing and why quality like this just doesn’t exist anymore so many stylist can take notes from her so glad I found my stylist!! The best I’ve ever had Chiqueta is a beautiful kind and professional person and the vibes of shop are just peaceful I loved actually felt like a relaxing get away for me!!

My experience was amazing I felt like I was at home the ladies made me feel so beautiful, Thank you so much for the hospitality and a wonderful time, it definitely gives you a family feel. I am definitely please with my hair and how it turned out, my braids are everything. Please don't hesitate to explore this beautiful salon you won't be disappointed I promise you.
