Loved my facials with Kayla! I’ve had 2 facials and some facial waxing with her and I’ve loved my experience. She takes time to assess your skin and tailor the treatment based on your skin care needs. She asks all of the important questions to learn about your skin, health, current routine and lifestyle habits to educate you and give you recommendations. I’ve had a handful of facials over the years, mostly generic ones at places like a big spa, casino, hotel, etc. Going to Kayla for a facial has been my first time seeing an independent esthetician and it’s the way to go! It’s much more of a personal, customized experience. She makes me feel so comfortable during the appointment! She also gives the best shoulder massage I’ve ever had during a facial. Kayla is amazing. She has the biggest heart and it shows in everything she does. Beyond being an incredibly talented esthetician, she truly cares about people and about building real community. You never feel rushed, judged, or “sold to” — you feel supported, listened to, and taken care of. She shows up for her clients and for others in a way that’s rare, and it makes every visit feel personal and safe. If you want results and someone who genuinely has your best interest at heart, she’s it.

I drove from Grand Rapids to Kalamazoo to see Kayla and my God, she’s worth it. She’s very experienced, she’s very knowledgeable, she knows what she is doing with skin. The whole facial was curated to my personal skin needs, my skin feels and looks amazing. She explains to you the why behind her treatments, she does it all. Plus, she has a great personality- kind, professional but, still someone you can have a laugh with. 100/10

I went to Kayla for a lash lift and tint and it was great! Kayla did a fantastic job - I felt no burning or stinging during the process and the puppy cuddles were a huge bonus. My lashes look great and I will definitely be back to Bare Bones Beauty in the future!

Had a lovely experience getting my first facial in many, many years with Kayla. Her space is inviting and comfortable, she is an absolute professional, explaining each step and its purpose along the way, and most importantly, she's good people. I will be back for maintenance facials to keep my skin healthy and vibrant. (Big bonus: Rue snuggles!)
