Margot did my first hair cut 20+ years ago and continues to do them to this day. She not only trims my hair but also gives me the occasional highlights or total dye when I’m ready for a change. She was even kind enough to do my hair perfectly for my wedding. She’s always professional and personal and the salon is clean and meticulous. 10/10 recommend again and again

Margot is very experienced and does an excellent job. I have curly hair and a lot of difficult gray. Before I found her I went to what is considered a very high end spa/salon in my area charging top dollar and never left 100 percent satisfied. I always felt like I wasted my money. For the first time in a long time I am happy with my color/highlights!

I have been seeing Margot for the past 4 years for highlights and haircuts. When I tell you that she not only is the kindest, most genuine soul, but one of the best hair stylists in all of New Jersey, I mean it. My hair is incredibly thick and curly—but she is able to do wonders to it. She is constantly evolving and learning how to apply different techniques to all hair textures. She’s the best! 10/10 highly recommend!

I never write reviews but for this place I will! Absolutely wonderful!! I have anxiety around getting my haircut due to a lot of bad past experiences and Margot made the process amazing! She was so kind and sweet she really took the time in the beginning to look at the pictures I bought. During the haircut process she made conversation so natural I felt relaxed and conformable the whole time. I'm extremely active and without even having to ask she knew to keep the length long enough so I could pull it back easily. I can't thank this woman enough not only for the amazing hair cut she gave me that works with my natural texture but for giving me confidence back that I haven't had in a very long time. My only regret is not having more cash on hand to tip her more!

Margot is fantastic! This was my first visit to this salon & she made me feel very comfortable. The salon has a very welcoming feel to it, as well. Pricing is very good. Definitely worth my 30 minute drive there. I will continue going to Studio 42. Thanks Margot!
