December 16, 2025 – Dr. Dillon: Dr. Dillon placed three dental fillings on teeth that had no pain, sensitivity, biting issues, or flossing problems prior to treatment. Before the procedure began, I clearly stated that the area was not numb and requested additional anesthesia. Treatment proceeded anyway. The procedure was extremely painful and felt rushed. I experienced significant pain throughout, and additional anesthesia was administered only in the middle of the procedure, after the pain had already become severe, rather than ensuring proper numbness beforehand. During this visit, cold air was repeatedly applied to a nearby root-canal tooth without a crown, which was not the tooth being treated and had not been problematic before. I’ve been going to South Riding Smiles for 2-3 years and absolutely love it! The staff is always warm, kind, and welcoming. I appreciate how the hygienists and dentists take their time because I never feel like I’m being rushed. Overall, highly recommend!

I lost a crown and called and they put me off for 8 days for an appt. When I went in, Dr. Dillan was incredibly rude and unhelpful and said I should have come in earlier, the root canal and crown was not done right, my tooth was mushy and needed to be pulled. She blamed me and asked why I didn’t come in earlier, when it was her office that said they couldn’t get me in for over a week. She just kept repeating it was “to mushy” and was super annoying. Finally she told me to go downstairs to the oral surgeon to have it removed. The crown that fell out was almost 20 years old and had been great, and was just old, but she tried to blame my previous dentist and say it was bad work instead of trying to help. I truly believe she just didn’t want to do any work and she probably gets a kick back fo

definitely the best dentist i have ever been to! every interaction is very personable and doesn't feel like a transaction. they genuinely care about you and your needs! the process to onboard as a new patient was very quick and easy which i really appreciated. i highly recommend this location for their efficiency, honesty, and customer service!
