South Riding Barber Shop

I have been going to South Riding Barber Shop since I was a toddler and I am happy to say that I still go today. Mimi and Frank are both incredibly kind and great at their jobs. The wait time is minimal and the haircut is detailed but swift. 10/10, would recommend!!!

I cannot see enough good things about Mimi and Frank. They have been wonderful to our entire family. I've been getting my hair cut at South Riding Barbers for over 15 years, and I couldn't be happier with the service! Frank and Mimi are always super friendly and make you feel like family. They take the time to get to know their clients and always provide a personalized experience. The shop itself is a true staple in the community, and it's always great to see familiar faces every time I walk in.

Recently moved to the area and on a journey to find a new barber shop. The staffs were nice and seemed efficient. However my haircut itself didn’t turn out to be good. I brought a picture and it was short enough haircut that i thought would be easy to do. I asked for a skin fade side and back and trim top and front. The barber did ok with the side and back fade but when it comes to the top, she didn’t use a scissor for the trimming but a clipper which ended up cutting too much into the side making the top unbalanced right compared to the left. The mid part was untouched so it made into an unintentional off Mohawk which not what i wanted. It was unfortunate because the location and the price point was ideal but based on the cut i probably would not go back.

Mimi paid close attention to detail, made sure to understand exactly what I wanted, and delivered a sharp, clean haircut that exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is welcoming and stylish, and they really make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in.
