Heather is the best! She always knows what to do with my hair even when I don’t. I moved to Texas three years ago and still have not been able to find someone as good as Heather. I came back into town for a funeral and Heather came in on her day off to do my hair. My hair hasn’t looked this good since she did it last!

I've been a loyal customer to Heather for about 5 years now. That's because she's simply the best. She's always going above and beyond to help get me into the salon in whatever timeframe I have available. Her salon is so beautiful and clean, she uses clean hair care products that aren't packed full of crap, and never tries to sell you a bunch of things (but she's very knowledgeable about the line she carries if you want to buy). I genuinely can not say enough good things about her and her Salon! 1000/10 recommend!!

I’ve been going to Heather for years, and seeing her open Skylocks Studio is straight-up Queen behavior. Even when I moved to Texas for a whole year, I didn’t let anyone touch my hair — I literally flew back just for her. She just gets it. No explanation needed, she already knows the vision. She’s a hair magician, a comedian, and honestly just the best vibe. I always leave looking amazing and laughing like I just left a comedy show. I’ve even debated bringing pie to my appointments — inside joke, but it’s part of the magic. If you’re not going to Heather… I genuinely don’t know why. Skylocks isn’t just a salon — it’s an experience. It’s a vibe, and you — and your hair — are missing out like someone who skipped Beyoncé tickets to stay home and fold laundry.

Heather is the best person for hair! She is the nicest, most talented beautician I have ever worked with! She is amazing with any color and cut! She listens to you and is extremely knowledgeable about everything related to color, cuts, and hair! I am so grateful for her expertise and kindness! She is a dream come true!

Heather is an absolute artist with hair and she cares deeply about her work. Her depth of knowlegde is remarkable - not just about products and techniques but about the biology of hair.
