Silver Mirror Facial Bar - Navy Yard

I first visited Silver Mirror Facial Bar in DuPont Circle as part of a YelpDC event. I loved my facial soo much that I returned to that location with my cousin and I purchased memberships for us. Attempting to make an appointment at that location, there was no availability. I made appointments for us at this location. We were able to get afternoon appointments for the date we selected. When that date rolled around, I was given a call about coming in earlier due to the parade that was supposed to be happening. (I won't mention who the parade was for). Once I mentioned we weren't locals, I was told whenever you get here we'll take you right back. We were greeted upon arrival and offered water. I recently came to this company for dermaplaning service along with just getting a deep cleanse beings though I haven’t in a while.. When I first arrived staff was nice greeted me. I waited 30mins for my esthetician to come out which was very unfortunate because I had other things to do that day.. So my day got pushed back. Service was going good until I realized my face burning from the products she used… Come to find out my face was burning because my face was CUT UP from the dermaplane! Coming here was the worst mistake ever! My face is literally CUT UP! Please do not come to this company! 😤😡

This is such a money grab company! Experience was horrible. During my service the Esthetician was informing me of how my skin needed all these things which I’m taking all in because she’s the esthetician I’m the client so I listen to her but she didn’t inform me that everything would be an additional cost . Which was very unfortunate because I spent way more money than I intended too. Front desk didn’t care.. they still wanted me to pay although I told them about the situation… unprofessional & lack of customer service and un personable people. Highly do not recommend this company. You can tell they train them to money grab.

First time visiting silver mirror facial bar, and my experience with Adrienne was great. She was pleasant, warm, tentative, and was sure to explain each step in the process. I’m not someone who takes great care of their skin, but my visit today will definitely have me return regularly.

Management Is A1, well specifically Tamika. She makes sure I am aware of my points and how to use them. She makes sure I get my samples, and she always calls prior to my appointment to see if I would like an earlier appointment. And Miya really diagnosis my skin and suggests AMAZING products tailored to my skin. Not products that are simply good, but good FOR ME! And so far each recommendation is having my skin better than ever before. Not leaving Miya ever!!. Miya really knows her products. I really get bang for my buck at silver mirror. Member for 3 years and my skin is the best it’s been! And guess what?the price hasn’t gone up!! Amazing. Love it here!!
