Shine On Salon

I was really happy to get a same-day appointment with Kelly. She did a great job listening to what I wanted, advising on the right cut for now, and laying out a clear plan to get to my goal style as my hair grows out. The salon itself is spotless, well organized, and thoughtfully set up in a warm, welcoming way. The rest of the staff was also very kind, which made the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.

Today I went to Shine On for the first time and Sam was my hair artist. Yes she was an artist! I highly appreciated how she patiently helped me figure out my new look and how she cared and listened. I appreciated her expertise with color and cut. My haircut is a masterpiece. The salon is peaceful, friendly, very clean. Thank you so much.

Nice stuff that was able to fit me in their schedule quick, but some issues with their haircut itself. Probably my own fault for not having a single stylist or knowing my stylist better, but typically when I asked for my hair thinned out, I get a lot more layers in my hair feels much lighter after. This time around though. I could tell that wasn’t done as I did not have many layers nor did my hair feel any later. The end result was still great in terms of looks that is the reason for four stars.

I wanted to make an appointment at this salon because they have great ratings, but they are booked up pretty far out so I got on the waitlist. About 2 weeks ago Kelly reached out and said she had an opening on a certain day. We texted about what I wanted for my hair and I sent her some photos. I told her I was available on said day. Well I thought that meant we were on for that day. I wait 2 weeks and I even texted her back the morning of what I thought was our appointment and tried to confirm. I never got a response. I showed up at the salon at the time we had agreed upon and she wasn’t there. Another stylist reached out to her and told me there was some confusion and she never booked me. I was very upset because I had been waiting to get my hair done. A few hours later Kelly texted me a

I just had my semi-annual haircut with Kelly at Shine On and loved the whole experience. Kelly is so nice and gentle. We had a great conversation about what I wanted and she made it happen. My favorite part is when I look in the mirror a week after my haircut and say “wow that looks great!” Thanks Kelly! See you in a few months.
