Melissa is a dream! I wanted to go back to a bob style and she delivered!! It’s a special thing to find a stylist that gives you exactly what you ask for and that’s what Melissa did! She was also super fun to chat with which added to an all around enjoyable experience. I loved the boutique side too!! Did a little shopping after my appointment and found the cutest jacket!!

Shear Thairapy is the gold standard in premium hair care! When I go in for a simple cut, I feel like I’m at a 5-star resort. When I check in, I’m greeted with light refreshments, the shampoo feels like a professional massage, everything is top of the line down to the final blow dry. Their team is amazing and always gives 110%. The clothing boutique shop in the salon is also super unique and very convenient to grab a quick surprise gift, and their manager is always helpful with picking out the newest styles that my girlfriend loves every time. If you aren’t going to Shear Thairapy, you’re missing out!

This is now the 2nd time I have been to Tabitha at Shear Thairapy in Olney. I loved my first vist but wanted to wait until I went again to leave a review because I’ve been disappointed in the past with a couple of stylists that I either felt did not listen to my wants or we’re not consistent. Honestly, I did not go to a salon for decades. I wear my hair long and just did my own box color. I’m older and at the age now where i am getting some greys and I want to experiment with more variety of shades and colors with the seasons. Also since moving to the East Coast my hair is also drier so it needs more professional TLC. Tabitha is Amazing!! Definitely my new forever stylist! I couldn’t be happier with my experience! She absolutely knocked it out of the park. My balayage, highlights, shadow root, and haircut turned out exactly how I envisioned — truly spot on. She listened carefully to what I wanted and delivered beyond expectations. The color is blended beautifully and the cut is perfect. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone who really understands how to bring your vision to life!

Went to a salon for the first time and had a great experience at Shear. Melissa did my hair and crushed it. I was a little nervous going in, but once I was in the chair… it was easy, relaxed, and honestly really enjoyable. Impressive spot… love how everything turned out. I’ll definitely be going back.
