Working with Megan was such an important experience for me and my nursing journey with my baby Lila. I had a breast reduction surgery which caused me to lose the ability to produce breast milk. I still wanted the experience of breastfeeding and Megan supported me with all the tools and emotional support I needed. We used a supplemental nursing system and a nipple shield to provide donor breast milk to my baby, while she latched on my breast. I truly believe that everyone can have a breastfeeding experience, and Megan can help you find the tools you need to be successful. There were many times I wanted to give up but Megan reassured me and helped me understand what I couldn’t have by myself. Dr. Megan is amazing! She is knowledgeable, professional, easy to talk to, and your biggest ally! I've had 3 babies that had a rough start with nursing and I never thought it would be different. Dr Megan is so knowledgeable! I didn’t really think I would learn much or really need lactation consulting. I had never done it before and I was having my fourth child. I honestly didn’t think there was anything she could teach me to make my experience better. I was wrong. She helped with so much and I’ve learned so much. I have been able to resolve things I didn’t know were causing problems in the past and have been able to have a better breast feeding experience.
