Kelcie knocked it out! I went in wanting calico hair and showed her a picture. I'm so happy with the results. I had never been here before but my usual lady was booked for a few weeks and I didn't want to wait. I'm so glad I came here and will for sure be coming back. The whole experience was great! Very comfortable setting, everyone was really nice. She put 3 colors in my hair and also gave me a trim. Did I mention I'm sooo in love with the results!

I was looking for an all over highlight. I saw Ansleigh post on social media. I went out on a limb. I am so satisfied with my hair. I have long, thick hair. She took her time, didn’t rush, was very engaging. Very cute small size salon. I can’t hype Ansleigh work up enough. The overall experience was great. The cost was within budget. Saved me over hundreds of dollars compared to what I have paid for at other salons. It’s a hidden gem!

I had been looking into having extensions placed for a few years. For the first 8 months we did the i-tps and tape ins and as great as it looked, it was still not what I had imagined paying that much money for extensions would be. It was heaving, I lost 3 or 4 a day, and was told I had to keep my hair curled so it would look natural. The manager took a class on how to apply Babe tie-in extensions and I signed up to the be the first customer in her chair after she took the class. I was so excited!!! I've been going to Serendipity's Salon for gosh, 15 years? I'm from Marion, but lived in New York, Chicago and now Des Moines. I still go to Serendipitys because, well, I couldn't afford to get my hair done in New York or Chicago ... from ANYONE, let alone someone as experienced and talented as Carrie. And here in Des Moines, if I were to find a stylist as experienced as Carrie, I'd still be paying more than what she charges! I have been getting extensions for years now. I've had the flat tips, the tape-ins and most recently, the hand tied extensions. Because I'm not local, I let the extensions grow out significantly before I get them redone (much to Carrie's chagrin!). My hair is extremely fine, very thin and limp.
