Elvis is extremely rude, never in my times of going to any Sephora have I ever encountered such a rude employee. I asked them if I could look at a salt and stone body wash product to see what the bottle looked like to make sure there weren’t any scratches or flaws, and the girl employee here let me look. When I compared I said I will take the one that appeared to have more product in it. When I got back into my car I opened it only to find that the employee who checked me out (Elvis) gave me the WRONG one. I went back inside to try to swap the bottles since I specifically asked for the one with more product. really bad attitude, Super rude ladies work here, Like excuse me you just work at a Sephora. You don’t like own the place but they’re attitude speaks volumes of who they are as people and whoever does the hiring either just wants mean girls here or they don’t know what good customer service looks like when they bring these types of employees in. the customer service definitely needs to get more training here. i’d rather just go to the one at One Loudon, Much nicer employees there.

I never write any reviews, but tonight I am so incredibly happy to write one regarding the amazing customer service I received at this Sephora location (Reston, Va) by Allen. I went inside with my boyfriend to buy a new concealer by Hourglass since my skin tone tends to get lighter during colder times & while I was trying to shade match, Allen came over to me and my boyfriend and asked if I needed any help. He made super friendly conversation with my boyfriend and I and helped me pick the correct shade. Got very poor customer service experience in Reston VA Sephora recently, September 2025. Asked a sales associate to look for a specific color of eye pencil and got rushed response that it was not in stock. The sales associate was disrespectful, dismissive and in a hurry when I asked her to double check the display lower drawer; she kept on repeating that they didn’t have the color. I politely asked again and got the same rushed response with uncovered irritation that she didn’t see it. Ever since Javon has left this Sephora location. I just don’t even bother to enter. I went in today looking for one item & ready to make my purchase. As I walked in , not one greeting , people looked at me around the store but said nothing. One women I said excuse me can you assist & she walked away… lol quite literally. I’d rather drive the 30 mins to a diff location or give my money else where.
