I am writing to bring attention to an incident I witnessed at your Marina del Rey, CA Sephora location in November 2025, involving the store manager, Bernice, that left me deeply concerned. During my visit, I observed the manager publicly belittle an employee and accuse him of stealing, even though it was clear he had done nothing wrong. Her tone and demeanor were harsh, demeaning, and completely inappropriate. She did everything but physically frisk him, which made the situation even more humiliating for the employee. This interaction took place in front of many customers, including myself, all of whom witnessed the exchange. As someone who works as a vendor in the retail industry, I understand the importance of professionalism, respectful communication, and appropriate internal handling

I am a bit closer to Sephora in 3rd street but I usually opt for this one.. much more peaceful plaza and store.. I never had bad experience here.. friendly staff.. only thing is that sometimes they don’t carry specific brands and items as they are not as big as 3rd street store but overall this is my fave Sephora I have also tried online pick up in this store.. always ready on time and accurate

La Resse and Ricky were so kind and helpful, guiding me to the purrfect products for my skin. The makeup selection is beautiful, and everything I tried felt high-quality. I left feeling confident, glowing, and pampered.

Some of Staff aren’t too friendly, I always have small talk with one particular associate who is genuinely nice, the rest of the associates I can’t say the same.

I had a very disappointing experience with this Sephora location. My makeup appointments were canceled multiple times with no explanation or accountability. When I spoke with the manager, Kamelia, she was extremely unprofessional and dismissive. She did not make any effort to accommodate me after the repeated cancellations, nor did she offer any apology for the inconvenience. As a customer, I expected a basic level of professionalism and courtesy, but instead I was met with rudeness and zero concern for my experience. This kind of service is unacceptable, especially from a brand like Sephora. I will not be booking services at this location again.
