Sensation Nail Spa

I went in to get gel X acrylic nails. I showed the lady french tip nails with a tortoise shell design. She said she could do it but had no clue how to when the time came. She did not know how to use blooming gel and wiped the design off multiple times. I let her pick a new design which was french tips and a flower on the ring finger. She picked this one herself and said she could do it, she could not. She made the flower badly multiple times on the wrong finger and in the end wiped it off and offered me a sticker, I did not want a sticker so I chose some small star charms because the selection was slim. She messily applied them with nail glue everywhere. Safe to say I was pretty disappointed.

i got a GELX manicure, the nails itself were applied okay. the nail design was the problem. i asked for a pretty simple design and showed the picture. the nail tech said she could do it, then as we go on, turns out she can’t. she ended up redoing it so many times it dyed the white nail blue. the design is messy and not clean at all. (i know it LOOKS at first glance like an okay design, but it was not what i asked for.) if you can’t do the design just say that clearly. i also had painful, raw cuticles under multiple of my nails. i have to go somewhere to get the design changed. i won’t be coming back.

Great experience visiting this hidden gem in Rancho Palos Verdes. I highly recommend stopping in here for a mani pedi with Gina. She’s super attentive and does a great job. I was a walk-in and she was taking care of someone else and was clear about the wait expectations. I waited 5 minutes before Katy was starting the foot bath. I’m very happy with my mani and pedi. They even gave me a longer hand massage since I was the last one here. Will definitely be coming back again! $85 for gel mani pedi and that includes the scrub and massage. So worth it!!!!

I went to get a simple gel polish removal and left with bleeding fingers, dents and scrapes in my nails, and pieces of gel polish still remaining. - Gina filed into my SKIN with the drill the whole time and wasn’t more careful even when I winced in pain?? Four of my fingers have red welts on my cuticle area, and two are bleeding. Incredibly unsightly. - Half my nails still have gel on them. On all of them, you can see the scrapes from filing, she was rough and barely spent any time buffing my nails out. - One nail has a huge divot from her inconsistent filing, it was burning while she was using the drill. It’s a shame because the first time I got my nails done here, it was a different lady who did a great job but it seems like she no longer works there. This was my second chance with the

This place can not do anything right. So so so bad. Said they could do designs and also basic French tip and could absolutely NOT. If you can’t do it just say you can’t do it. So we ended up just getting no designs and it was so bad that we had to go elsewhere to get it removed. They were rude on the phone and the place was dirty. It was horrible. I literally was so disappointed it was terrible. I’m so upset. I can not believe this place is in Palos verdes. They belong elsewhere, not in Palos verdes, this quality is disgraceful.
