Saratoga Joinery

I have never done any woodworking before but wanted to try something different/learn a new skill and the picture frame class I took was amazing! I already signed up for another class. They are super friendly, the place is extremely clean and professional (no sawdust everywhere) and felt very safe the whole time even when using the big saws.

The Saratoga Joinery is an incredible facility. It is truly a gem for anyone interested in working with wood. All the shop equipment is top notch and kept in superb condition. Safety is the top priority. There is a safety coordinator on the floor at all times. The Joinery has its share of talented woodworkers, but it is very welcoming of all experience levels. Everyone there is friendly and happy to provide patient guidance in navigating the intricacies of projects both big and small.

I found the joinery as I was walking into Saratoga Springs center along Caroline Street. It is a very welcoming building and group of people. The machinery and tools are great with a very efficient ventilation system. I became a member without hesitation and am now working on my first project. On Sunday I received great advice from Chris on certain aspects of my woodworking project that will transfer to other pieces. Great place and great people!!!

I've have been to several Makers Spaces in my travels across the U.S. The Saratoga Joinery is the best one I've seen. The facilities, staff and classes are wonderful. I would recommend membership to anyone from beginner to seasoned woodworker.
