Thu has been my nail technician for about a year now, and she’s the absolute best I’ve ever had. I switched from acrylic to gel builder, and I’ve never had my nails look this long before. Acrylic nails usually thin out, and I don’t like the feeling of them. Gel builder is more durable, lighter, and lasts longer.

I visit often since I live in the neighborhood. I have had really polarized experiences here. The owner is fabulous, kind, attentive, and I always leave with a smile on my face. She creates a comfortable environment and truly engages with you. Unfortunately, some of her staff, do not have the same precision or care in their work. I don’t ask for much, just a shellac manicure on short, natural nails. I think I will have to start making appointments to avoid a particular employee which is kind of a bummer since they are so accommodating with walk-ins!

This review is specifically for the owner! I can’t speak to the service of the others as my appointments are usually with Sarah, who is really meticulous and talented with designs! They’re usually on time with appointments and I always love how my nail designs turn out. If I lived closer I’d be here every month. Definitely recommend giving them a call and booking an appointment!

Stopped in for a shellac mani and regular pedi since I live nearby. They took me as a walk-in right away, which was great, but the space is pretty shabby, and I'm not convinced it's the cleanest. The staff were sweet and quiet, which I didn't mind. My pedicure turned out great, but my gel manicure was rough - it was still tacky hours later, and had a messy streak on my thumb that I didn't notice until I got home. It turns out that my nail beds had taken a beating as well - two toes and a finger had small cuts to heal from being pushed too far from the finger. I did see the owner doing another appointment that looked fantastic, and they fixed another girl's peeling dip nails for free, but the fact that her dip peeled after one day makes me think the quality here is hit-or-miss. They did an absolutely horrible job on my nails. I got the dip powder manicure and my nails started cracking the next day. The cuticles even look horrible… I couldn’t go back because I was visiting from NY and left the next day… the reason why I gave the 2 is because the person doing the nails was very nice but what a crappy job. Thank you for responding but you I’m not sure when I’ll be returning to Seattle but it would be great if I could get a refund or at least a partial refund… it hasn’t been a complete week yet and my nails are still cracking… I’ve submitted more photos.
