Sarah has been my stylist for at least 12 years. She is super talented with cuts. And now also does the coolest cuts for my young adult son. She listens to my preferences and makes great suggestions. The salon space is classy without being pretentious and everyone is friendly.

I lived in NYC for 30 years, which is famous for top stylists, and Ze is the best stylist I've ever had. I'm constantly getting compliments about my hair and I send everyone to Ze. His cuts are impeccable, he knows how to get the best look with my face and hair type, he's fun and friendly while being focused and not missing a detail. My hair has never looked this good!

I have had Sarah cut my hair since 2006, with an interim where I had tried other places but had never walked away as happy or looking great with Sarah's skills. I literally walk in & give her creative control of what to do & receive compliments all the time from friends & even random strangers on the street how cute my haircut is. Which that in itself should speak volumes to her abilities, as I don't know how to style my hair, so the praise is all because of the talent she puts into cutting it. She takes her time & pays great attention to detail making sure the shape & cut if perfect before you leave her chair. Could never trust another to touch my hair!

Five star experience with each visit. Ze is my stylist and the only one I trust to handle my curls. I have a few curl textures going on with my hair so it’s usually seen as “intriguing” to the local stylist in SD. Ze understands the product, water and patience needed to cater to my curls. I originally went to him for a big chop where we cut about 12 inches off a few years ago. He was able to execute the vision perfectly. The way he cut my hair allowed it to grow out with a style vs. unruly with every two weeks of new growth. I really appreciate the time he takes to understand your hair goals— all while providing expertise that made my journey truly seamless. At all lengths of my hair I trust Ze. Highly recommend the salon overall, but he is my favorite.

Salon V.I.P. is a very professional salon. Clean, spacious, good vibes, and great hair stylists. I have been going to Sarah Vaughan for many years and she is truly an artist. Every cut and color is a work of art and she takes a lot of pride in her work. I recently started getting smoothing treatments with Jennifer Rotter and she is also wonderful to work with. It means a lot when they refer their clients to each other. The salon has a great, collaborative energy. I highly recommend it.
