Shawn is the absolute best at cutting and coloring my hair! He is meticulous and thorough, and always makes sure you're happy with your hair before heading out the door. Since I've moved further away, I've tried other salons, but have never gotten the results I get from Shawn. I highly highly recommend him!!

I've been going to Shawn for almost a year now. I've also been away at college for the past year but didn't trust any of the nearby barbers around campus. Shawn's work is GREAT. I've had my hair cut three different ways ever since I've been going to Shawn and he found ways to make them all look great. Also, the charge rate is undervalued for the work provided. $25 for a great head of hair is well worth it. Another great aspect is that Salon Paragon gives you the coffee shop feeling. You feel as though you are in a coffee shop because of the casualness of the salon. Every employee is friendly. I've been getting my hair cut at Salon Paragon for about a year now. It is set in a great contemporary salon run by Shawn. Shawn is an expert at what he does, and I always leave his Salon satisfied. Very good prices, very comfortable atmosphere, it is the only place I trust to cut my hair exactly the way I want it cut. I only get my cut from Shawn, but all of the stylists there are great. Everyone engages you from the time you walk in to the time you leave, and it just makes for a great experience beyond that of your usual haircut. I noticed that I'm not the only one enjoying myself. Everyone there is having a good time; Both the stylists and the customers, It's just a "feel good" atmosphere. Plus, there is coffee and a cozy seating area while you wait for your stylist. Shawn has been my hairdresser for about 6years, maybe longer. I love his work. He has an eye for shape, style, and flow. He's styled my hair when it was long and short. He is a wizard, just follow the yellow brick road to Bishop Street in Portland to see for yourself. It's worth the 2 hr drive I've taken for the past 6+ years.
